The Monongalia County Sheriff's Department arrested a Marion County man after it said he hit a school bus and fled the scene.

Jeremy Anderson, 23, is charged with aggravated DUI (alcohol concentration over .15) and hit-and-run causing property damage, according to a press release from the sheriff's department.

Deputies responded to the intersection of Mason-Dixon Highway and Daybrook Road just after 3:30 p.m. on Friday, according to the press release.

They said a blue Chevy pick-up truck fled the scene after crashing into a Monongalia County school bus that was transporting four students and a school aide.

The sheriff's department said investigating officer Deputy Morgan located the truck at the Dollar General in Blacksville after it drove back through the scene.

Deputies said that no one was injured in the crash. The sheriff's department is investigating.

Anderson is in the North Central Regional Jail.
