UPDATE: 1 Taken to Ruby Memorial By Healthnet, 2 Arrested After Accident in Mannington

Deputy Jimmy Bledsoe of the Marion County Sheriff's Department said Daniel Higgins, 48, lost control of his truck and it flipped several times into an embankment. 

His nephew, Brian Higgins, 33, suffered severe head trauma and was transported via Healthnet to Ruby Memorial Hospital.  He is still at Ruby Memorial with a broken neck and a fractured skull. 

When Deputies arrived,  Daniel's brother, William Higgins, 57, was attempting to remove the truck from the embankment and flee the scene. William Higgins was not in the truck at the time of the accident. 

Both men were arrested on DUI charges and are currently being held in North Central Regional Jail. Daniel Higgins is charged with DUI with injury.  William Higgins is charged with Aggravated DUI.

One person was flown by HealthNet to Ruby Memorial Hospital on Saturday evening and two others were put behind bars after an accident on Buffalo Brink Road in Mannington.

The Marion County 911 Center said it happened around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The Marion County Rescue Squad, Marion County Sheriff's Department, Mannington Police Department and Mannington Fire Department responded.

No word on the cause of the crash, pending charges, or victim's condition.
