Bridgeport Winter Farmers Market Open at Bridgeport Conference Center

The Bridgeport Conference Center is the home of the Bridgeport Winter Farmers Market.

The first Sunday of every month the market is held indoors with local vendors.

Vendors sell baked goods, farm-raised chicken and eggs, jewelry, and more.

The market teams up with the Bridgeport Conference Center brunch, and Scott Duarte, director of the center, said it's a win for both.

"What we try to do is we feature foods from the market some of the products that are used and we'll highlight them in our menus and then we have menu cards out. People will see that we're using certain products in our recipes and then they can go to the market buy the raw products, take them home, and do a similar version themselves" said Duarte.

The market will be open indoors the first Sunday of the month until April, when it moves outdoors  in Ma at Charles Pointe.  The outdoor market runs through October.
