The Upshur Portal Project is moving along.

The project's next phase is installing another Wi-Fi hotspot at Jawbone Park by the end of March and along Main Street in Buckhannon.

The project also includes locating electronic kiosks to feature the portal's website to promote events and businesses to visitors and residents.

"It's nice to have one common place where people can go look and so tonight there's a meeting a city hall or Friday night there's a movie a micro theater on Main Street or there's live music at the 88 so it's a nice area to go to one place and get information," said Michael Crowger, of the Upshur Portal Commission.

The county already has a Wi-Fi hot spot at the park complex near Buckhannon Upshur High School.
