Use of the new green recycling totes in Morgantown began Monday.

In December, more than 7,000 bins were dropped off and distributed.

Republic Waste Services will not be retrieving the old bins and recommends using them inside your home.

The city will hold an informational meeting at 6 p.m., January 17 at the library to answer any questions about the new service, or the city's new Clean Community Concept.
