Authorities in Preston County arrested a man on Wednesday and charged him with first degree arson.

Police said David Ridenour, 49, is responsible for setting a Terra Alta mobile home on fire last October.

State Police assisted the State Fire Marshal's Office with executing that arrest warrant.

The State Fire Marshal's Office said the investigation has been ongoing and involves several law enforcement agencies in Preston County. It said additional charges are pending for other fires in Preston County that occurred in 2011 and 2012.

Ridenour is in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail with bail set at $50,000.
