The Elkins Police Department arrested a man on drug charges Wednesday.
Jeffrey Scott Wilson, of Elkins, was arrested and charged with operating or attempting to operate a clandestine lab.
On Wednesday at approximately 8:39 p.m., an Elkins police officer pulled over a vehicle driven by Wilson and observed items used in the manufacturing of a clandestine lab in the vehicle, according to a criminal complaint.
After receiving consent from Wilson to search the vehicle, the police officer located components used to assemble a clandestine methamphetamine lab, according to the criminal complaint.
Wilson is currently in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail with bail set at $50,000.
