Preston County Man Accused of Murder to Appear in Court

A Preston County man accused of killing his father will be in court next week.

Robert Dale Tasker's preliminary hearing is scheduled for Monday at 3 p.m.

Tasker admitted to shooting and killing his father William Howard Tasker, Jr. on Tuesday.

Deputies were called to Tasker, Jr.'s home on Pond Drive in the Cranesville area Tuesday morning where they found Robert Tasker with the body of his father.

Tasker is charged with first degree murder.

He remains in Tygart's Valley Regional jail without bond.
