Veterans on Call in Morgantown is a non-profit group that hires out veterans to do manual labor around your home or business.

The temporary employment helps veterans until they gain full time employment.

It also helps them transition back to civilian life.

"It's a chance to get back into the community; it's not something we're used to. It's really hard to transition back into civilian life," said Scott Richards, a marine veteran. "It also gives us a chance to work with them and meet other veterans who are going through the same thing we are."

For $18 an hour, you can hire a veteran to work around your home. The cost for businesses is $14 per hour.

For more information call Veterans on Call at 681-212-9264.
