Jacobs Engineering Group Inc., a large and diverse technical service provider, will host a job fair for openings at its Charleston operations.

The job fair will be 5-7 p.m. Jan. 17, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Jan. 18 and 9 a.m. to noon Jan. 19 at Jacobs' offices at 5000 Elk River Road in Charleston.

Jacobs is adding engineers and designers to its Charleston operation because of its growing product base, according to a news release.

They are looking for engineers and designers with concentrations in construction management, control systems, electrical, mechanical, piping, process engineering, project controls, project management, procurement, process safety, civil/structural and rotating equipment specialists.

Qualified candidates should have experience in the chemical/petrochemical, oil and gas, power or aluminum industries, according to information from Jacobs, along with demonstrated leadership capabilities.

Jacobs has more than 200 offices in more than 25 countries, and its 2012 revenue topped $10 billion. The company offers support for industrial, commercial and government clients across many markets, with services that include scientific and specialty consulting as well as engineering, construction, operations and maintenance.
