MORGANTOWN -

The Mon Valley Historical Railroad Society held its January open house the weekend of Saturday, January 12, 2013. The open house features model railroad scenes and trains.

There are mostly model Coal trains, just like real West Virginia railroading, but passenger and mixed freight trains are also featured.

The society is celebrating more than 20 years of railroad building.

You can visit the open house at 128 Pleasant Street in Morgantown on Sunday from 12 to 5 p.m.
