With pools finally opening up and temperatures usually rising, Memorial Day weekend is the unofficial start of summer. But you wouldn't have known judging by how empty local pools were Saturday, when temperatures lingered in the 60s.
MORGANTOWN -
The Morgantown Utility Board is starting the construction of a new water line on Mileground Road in Morgantown Sunday night.
The construction will be between Route 705 and Eisenhower Street on Mileground Road. Construction is between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. Work is expected to take about two months.
The project is required because of a conflict between the existing water line and construction of the round-a-bout at the intersection of Route 705 and Mileground Road.
Travelers should expect delays and take different routes if possible.
