The Fairmont Police Department has arrested two residents and charged them with child abuse or neglect creating a risk of injury.
Police officers responded to the pair's house after receiving a complaint of child abuse. Police found welts and bruises on a 6-year-old and an 8-year-old. Upon asking the children how they received the injuries, they told police that their mother, Amanda Blouir, 29, and her live-in-boyfriend, Nathaniel Jabber Beh, 24, beat them, according to a criminal complaint.
Both Beh and Blouir are being held in North Central Regional Jail on $20,000 bail.
