A Fairmont man has been arrested by the Marion County Sheriff's Department on four counts of drug charges.
Richard Jules was arrested Tuesday near Eighth Street and Virginia Avenue.
The Sheriff's Department had a confidential informant purchase drugs from Jules and then made the arrest.
Chief Deputy Ralph Wright said they obtained a search warrant and found more than 230 pain killers and 45 grams of marijuana in Jules home.
He was also carrying more than $3,000 in cash at the time of the arrest.
"He is currently being arraigned on two counts of possession with the intent to deliver and two counts of delivery of a controlled substance," said Chief Deputy Wright. "The weed and the pain pills."
Chief Deputy Wright said this is an ongoing investigation and they believe more people are involved.
Jules is currently being questioned by the Sheriff's Department and if he cannot post bail, will be transported to North Central Regional Jail.
