The Monongalia County Sheriff's Department is investigating an accident that sent one person to the hospital Wednesday.
It happened at about 4:30 p.m. at the Pilot Station on Goshen Road off of Exit 146 of I-79.
Randy McHenry, of Brookline, Missouri was acting as a flagman directing a tractor trailer operated by Donnell Stevenson of Long Beach, California to back into a parking spot at the truck stop, when he was struck by the tractor trailer, officials said.
McHenry was pinned between the truck he was flagging and another parked tractor trailer for a short amount of time.
McHenry was transported to Ruby Memorial Hospital, and is in stable condition.
