Brickhouse Cardio Club celebrated four new openings last weekend.

The addition of four new clubs means eight new clubs have opened in the past three weeks.

Brickhouse, which specializes in Zumba fitness, is owned by Misti Janey and Vic Sprouse and is based in Charleston. With locations in several different states, it is perhaps one of the most successful franchises featuring Zumba fitness classes.

According to a news release, the opening in Surfside Beach, S.C., broke all previous Brickhouse records with more than 130 people attending and dozens of new members. The club in Runnemede, N.J.,  saw more than 80 attend the grand opening and 20 new members signing up. The location in Proctorville, Ohio, was filled to capacity.

Brickhouse Cardio Club also was mentioned on the official Zumba website.

Diane Felkenes, a Zumba fitness instructor,  said she loves the energy of the franchise.

"I love Misti (Janey) and Vic (Sprouse) and they really seem to be the real STUDIO FAIRIES!  Thank you for making so many instructors' dreams come true.  I have taught at 3 Brickhouse locations and the energy is amazing.  Congratulations to all with these studios," she wrote.
