A Monongalia County organization is donating nearly 80 bikes to people in Africa.

Friday afternoon, "Positive Spin", a bike recycling group in Morgantown, loaded the bikes to be sent over-seas.

Positive spin recycles and refurbishes old bikes for resale. The organization teamed up with the group "Bikes for the World" who will distribute the bikes to people in need.

The bikes donated are the ones "Positive Spin" said it can't resell but they said they still have life in them.

The organization donates about one-third of it's bikes each year.
