MORGANTOWN -

Morgantown is one of the best small cities in the country according to the Milliken Institute.

Morgantown was recently ranked the second best performing small city in the institute's annual rankings.

The top town was Logan, Utah. Last year Morgantown was ranked third in the study.

Cities are scored on categories like job growth, wages, and technology.

Parkersburg was the only other West Virginia City inside the top 10, Charleston fell nearly 100 spots in the poll, the third largest fall among large cities.
