    Entsorga will take waste and separate steel, aluminum and glass, recycle certain types of biodegradable waste and convert it to an end product that can be used to make cement.
    The business, which WVEDA Executive Director David Warner explained was a European technology that takes waste and separates steel, aluminum and glass, recycles certain types of biodegradable waste and converts it to an end product that can be used to make cement.

The Alzheimer's Association of West Virginia is gearing up for a "Dancing with the Stars" style competition.

Dancing Through Time pairs local "celebrities" with professional dance partners. The event is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. March 23 at the Erickson Alumni Center on West Virginia University's campus.

Couples are challenged with incorporating a selected decade into their dance by using music, choreography and costumes. Winners will be determined two ways: which pair receives the most donations and the pair's performance the night of the event.

"Our dancers are hard at work practicing their dances and fundraising for their dancing team," said Sandra Vanin, chair of the event. "Our dancers' dedication and enthusiasm for this cause is truly  infectious, we hope to raise a lot of money to help families facing this devastating disease here in our community."

Celebrity dancers include Stephen LaCagnin, managing member at Jackson Kelly; Jim Manilla, mayor of Morgantown; Andrew McGee, WVU graduate football coach; Tony J. Amormino, morning and noon meteorologist at WBOY; Elizabeth Sabatino, Miss West Virginia Teen USA 2012; and Kari Sand-Jecklin, WVU assistant nursing professor.

Professional dancers include Angela Dennis, Bill Duff, Gretchen Moore, Ashley Culberson, Dr. Sean  (Shine) Tue and Rachel Romero.

Tickets to the event are $60 for single tickets and $95 for a couple. Tickets can be purchased online at www.alz.org/wv or by calling 304-599-1159. Proceeds benefit the Alzheimer's Association, West Virginia Chapter.
