The new ordinances will clear up the language to include information and rules concerning gated parking lots and facilities, and include pull ticket facilities.

It's a little chilly to think about swimming in January but summer will be here before you know it.

And swimmers in Bridgeport may have something to look forward to.

Bridgeport Parks and Recreation said it's looking into replacing the high dive at the city pool with a new water slide.

The new slide would cost about $60,000.

If everything goes as planned, the slide could be up and running by next summer.
