
The West Virginia Wesleyan softball team has been picked to finish first in the 2013 WVIAC Softball Preseason Coaches Poll. The Bobcats are coming off a historic season that saw them advance to the Super Regional's in Kutztown, Pa.
Wesleyan received 10 of the 14 first place votes for a total of 190 points. Other local teams include Fairmont State in fifth (146), Alderson-Broaddus in seventh (113), Glenville State in 10th (71) and Davis and Elkins in 12th (61).
