MORGANTOWN -
The first Fondue Factory in the state opened its doors Thursday evening in Morgantown.
Located at 250 High Street, the restaurant was forced to cancel its grand opening Wednesday night after a water main break.
It serves fondues from all over the world, including France and Switzerland.
"It's been a lot of work between the busted water main and our heat shut off," said Travis Tracy, a part-owner of The Fondue Factory. "It's been a busy couple of days for Bron, my partner. It's been a lot of work, a little stressed out but we're just happy to be opened to the public."
Part-owner Bron Kayal agreed that he is just happy to be in business.
"We want people to know this is a full service fondue restaurant," said Kayal. "You have your French and Swiss fondue, you have your Asian hot pots, you also have your Louisiana boils so take your pick, we've got it all."
The Fondue Factory opens at 4:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon on Sundays.
