LEWIS COUNTY -

The Scottish Heritage Society hosted its annual Burns Supper at the Stonewall Jackson Resort on Saturday.

Members and guests enjoyed traditional Scottish cuisine and music.

The event's purpose was to remember the life and works of Scotland Poet, Robert Burns.

The celebration is held around Burn's birthday every year.

Society member, Kathy Curry, said this is the start of fun ways to celebrate the Scottish Heritage.

"Anybody that's interested in Scottish heritage or Celtic heritage, we have our festival the first weekend of May, so this is kind of the beginning of where we start having a lot fun," Curry said.
