Stonewall Resort brings a taste of the Spanish Coast to West Virginia on Feb. 2.

"This special event, which begins at 7 p.m., features a centuries-old Spanish tradition of eating small portions of eclectic foods called Tapas paired with delicious red and white wines," said Steve Ludwig, director of sales and marketing at Stonewall Resort. He noted that the tradition of Tapas originated in Spain during the 1600s and continues today as a staple of contemporary Spanish cuisine.

"We are excited to bring this tradition to you with a special Taste of the Spanish Coast package. Our culinary team has added a unique twist to the Tapas custom with Appalachian flavors and a selection of wines that enhance the creative menu," Ludwig said.

In addition to the Tapas, Stonewall Resort is partnering with Kysela Pere etFils, LTD (a purveyor of fine wines and craft beers) to provide specially selected wines to accompany the menu.

The cost is $189 per couple and includes one night lodging, dine-around tapas dinner and wine. There will also be live music provided by two Spanish guitarists throughout the evening.

To make reservations, contact the resort at 304-269-7400 or visit the website at www.stonewallresort.com.
