A rock slide in Gilmer County held up traffic Tuesday morning.

It happened just before midnight Monday night on Route 5, west of Glenville.

A cliff along one side of the road gave way, dumping rocks and mud across the roadway.

One car was involved in an accident before cleanup began.

One person went to the hospital with unknown injuries.

The Division of Highways reopened the road early Tuesday afternoon.
