1 Taken to Hospital After University Avenue Accident in Monongalia County

A man was taken to the hospital after colliding with a car on his motorcycle.

It happened around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, on University Avenue near Second Avenue.

Police said a car pulled out in front of the motorcycle, which then hit it.

University Avenue was shut down for several minutes afterward.

Police said the man is not facing life-threatening injuries.
