On this West Virginia Day, a very nice day is expected for the state. Highs in the lower 80s with lots of sun and a few clouds. A stray mountain storm popping up in the afternoon can't be ruled out.

The Glenville State College art gallery is displaying the work of a West Virginia artist.
The exhibit features ceramic work by Zack Orcutt, a professor of art at WVU Parkersburg.
Orcutt has show installation art at Glenville State in the past.
Art professor Liza Brenner said this time she wanted to show student a less dramatic side of the arts.
"So everything is simple because I think it's functional, that you could actually use it as opposed to art that would be sculptures and things that you would put in your foyer," said Brenner.
Glenville State will host an opening reception at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, February 5.
