The Monongalia County Child Advocacy Center (MCCAC) opened is new doors to the public Tuesday night.

The organization just made its move to a new location at 909 Greenbag Road in Morgantown.

The MCCAC held an "Empty House" fundraiser with the goal of raising $425,000. The organization has already raised $82,000.

The organization even received a generous offer of $10,000 from University Motors at the event.

Its mission is to advocate for children who have been abused, neglected, or are at risk by providing a child friendly and safe environment for them to be interviewed, educated, and healed.

All services provided are free, and all the proceeds raised will go towards the cost and impatience of the new building.
