Braxton County Man Sentenced in Clarksburg District Court

A Shock, West Virginia, resident was sentenced on January 29 by Judge Irene M. Keeley in U.S. District Court in Clarksburg, according to a news release from the office of the U.S. Attorney Northern District of W.Va.

Daniel Ray King, 37, was sentenced to six months in prison to be followed by two years of supervised release, with the first six months of his supervised release to be served under home confinement, officials said.

King pleaded guilty on October 5, 2012, to possession of material used in the manufacture of methamphetamine on February 1, 2012, in Gilmer County, according to a news release.

King is free on bond and will self report on March 4, 2013 to the designated Federal institution.
