Federal, state and non profit organizations met in Morgantown Wednesday morning to discuss watershed restoration.
The West Virginia Watershed Network held its annual meeting at the National Research Center for Coal and Energy on the campus of West Virginia University.
The event allows watershed associations to see what resources are available.
Groups from all over the state attended including the Friends of Deckers Creek and the Coal River Mountain Watch.
"We did get a lot of watershed association volunteers who came and resource providers so it's pretty impressive that they can all be here today and share ideas, find out about new programs and project opportunities that they can take home for their watersheds," said Jennifer Pauer, of W.Va. DEP.
The West Virginia Watershed Network has been preserving and restoring watersheds since 1995.
