Fairmont General Hospital said the search for its strategic partner continues but has been narrowed down from 11 to two facilities.
FGH began looking for a strategic partner since last January and has talked to multiple organizations.
West Virginia United has expressed interest in the partnership.
The hospital wants to find an organization with capital to invest in FGH and provide assistance when new health care legislation takes effect next year.
