
State Police responded to a coal truck accident in Taylor County Thursday morning.
The accident occurred just before 10 a.m. on Route 73 in Boothsville.
State Police said a tri-axle coal truck, driven by Wayne McDaniel, slid off the road into a creek.
McDaniel did not sustain any injuries, according to State Police.
Route 73 was closed following the accident, but has since reopened, according to the Taylor County Office of Emergency Management.
The White Hall Police Department, the Boothsville Volunteer Fire Department, the Bridgeport Volunteer Fire Department, and Marion County EMS also responded to the scene.
