Relay For Life of Taylor County kicked off its 2013 campaign Thursday in Grafton.

Relay for Life is a global event that celebrates cancer survival and raises money and awareness about the disease.

The kickoff committee will met at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Church of the Good Shepard off Route 50.

Organizers invited the public to come get involved, pick team captains, and set goals for the event.
