A Marion County man who was arrested on endangerment and animal cruelty charges was in court Wednesday.

Charles Jones, 28, waived his right to a preliminary hearing in front of magistrate court Wednesday afternoon.

Magistrate Missy Pride cut his bond in half, from $100,000 to $50,000.

Jones was arrested on January 20 for allegedly shooting two dogs in front of his sister, brother-in-law, and her children.

His charges will now be presented in circuit court.
