There's been a lot of talk recently about where to build the new Harrison County 911 Center.

Several property owners have stepped forward with building and location options for the County Commission to consider.

The most recent proposal is for the Goff Building next to the County Courthouse.

Harrison County 911 Director Paul Bump said those suggestions will likely be a last resort.

"We're going to exhaust our initial direction first, at least that's the direction I've been given. Exhaust our initial direction and then go from there," Bump said.

Bump is talking about the PK Addition in Clarksburg.

He said he hopes to know more about the fate of the 911 center in a few weeks.
