UPDATE: 1 Flown to Hospital After Vehicle Crash in Marion County

A vehicle accident in Marion County sent two people to the hospital late Friday night.

The Marion County Sheriff's Department said two females were traveling southbound on Four States Road, just outside of Worthington.

The driver lost control of the vehicle, went over an embankment, and crashed into a creek.

The driver was taken to Fairmont General Hospital and the passenger was flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital via Healthnet.

Deputies said the accident is under investigation.

Healthnet has flown one person to Ruby Memorial Hospital after an accident in Marion County on Friday.

It happened just before 10:00 p.m. in Four States, outside of Worthington.

Marion County 911 said a vehicle crashed into a small creek near the community's post office.

At least one other person was in the vehicle and was taken into custody, according to 911 officials.

Names and conditions are not being released at this time.

The Marion County Sheriff's Department is investigating.
