ROANOKE -

Stonewall Resort celebrated a centuries-old Spanish tradition called Tapas.

People were able to beat the snow, stay warm and enjoy some custom food with Appalachian flavors and a selection of Spanish wines.

Conference Manager Joe Corcoglionti said that even with the bad weather people were happy and enjoying themselves.

"Tonight's affair is a Spanish tapas dinner. Tapas meaning little bites, and we've paired it with some Spanish wine from a new winery that's come in," Corcoglionti said.

More than a dozen people were in attendance.

This was the first time the resort hosted this type of event.
