FAIRMONT -

Super Bowl Sunday is not just an exciting time for the National Football League and its fans, but it is also exciting for businesses.

The closer it gets to kickoff on Super Bowl Sunday, the busier grocery stores across the nation become.

East Fairmont Shop N' Save employees said the past week has been crazy.

People are coming in to stock up on Super Bowl party supplies like chips, meats, veggie trays, and more.

"A normal day you have time to take a break and breathe," said Cheryl Bonner, Shop N' Save employee. "The last three days we have not been able to do that. It has really been busy."

Shop N' Save said the bad weather also has increased business, as customers are stocking up on the basic foods like bread and milk.
