The Belington Police Department has arrested a man and charged him with one count of operating a clandestine methamphetamine lab.

Adam Seth Keplinger, 32, of Belington, broke into a residence on Third Street in Belington and was found inside with an active meth lab in a closet, according to a criminal complaint document. Keplinger also had a black bag in his possession that contained an instructional book about how to make meth, said police.

Keplinger is being held in Tygart Valley Regional Jail with bail set at $25,000.
