Thomas Bonnell Pleads Guilty to Fleeing From Officer, Conspiracy Charges

A man pleaded guilty Wednesday to charges stemming from a confrontation with a sheriff's deputy last year.

Thomas Bonnell has pleaded guilty to fleeing from an officer and conspiracy after being stopped by a Lewis County sheriff's deputy, according to Lewis County Circuit Court.

The deputy shot Bonnell in self-defense during the incident.

Bonnell's sentencing also is set for April 1.
