Everyone gets a lead foot every so often. But a study showing that West Virginia has more fatalities from car wrecks than other areas in the United States may have drivers on Interstate 79 hitting the brakes.
The Lewis County Family Resource Network is looking to reach out more under its new director, Mona Vinson.
Vinson took over last December.
She said she's trying to reinforce the connections the network already has and develop new ones.
Vinson said she's also looking for people to join the network to get a better idea of where she should focus her efforts.
"Family members are where we're wanting to know where out citizens need help, where their needs are and having family members serve on our membership, we can identify that as well," said Vinson.
