Fairmont State University Police have confirmed that a search warrant was served on a Rosewood Court home in Bridgeport Wednesday.
The house is believed to belong to former Fairmont State University Vice President and Chief Information Officer, David Tamm.
FSU Police Chief Jack Clayton confirmed that Fairmont State University Police, Bridgeport Police and the FBI executed a search warrant in Bridgeport in connection to an ongoing investigation. Clayton said he couldn't disclose additional information at this time.
Clayton didn't say if the ongoing investigation involved Tamm.
FSU Spokesperson Ann Booth said Tamm was placed on administrate leave January 28.

A Fairmont State University employee has been placed on unpaid leave as a result of an ongoing investigation at the university.
FSU Spokesperson Ann Booth said the University's Vice President and Chief Information Officer David Tamm was placed on administrate leave beginning January 28.
Booth said the Campus Police is conducting a thorough, extensive, and exhaustive investigation.
FSU President Maria Rose is taking the matter very seriously and there is no word if federal authorities will get involved, Booth said.
Booth did not say what the investigation entails.
WBOY tried contacting campus police, but they are not releasing a comment.
