A structure fire near Shinnston sent one man to the hospital on Saturday afternoon.
The Shinnston Volunteer Fire Department said the fire broke out just after 3:30 p.m. at a trailer used for storage. It happened north of Shinnston on Willard Rd.
A man was inside and tried to put the fire out himself, but was injured in the process.
He was flown by HealthNet to the West Penn Burn Center in Pittsburgh.
The cause of the fire is undetermined, and the trailer was a total loss.
Shinnston Fire Department, Lumberport Fire Department, Worthington Fire Department, Spelter Fire Department, Nutter Fort Fire Department and Harrison County EMS all responded.
Shinnston Volunteer Fire Department is investigating the cause of the fire.
