The snow might have missed some areas but the winter weather was in full affect at Coopers Rock Saturday for the 2nd Annual Winterfest.
Guests could take in the scenic sites of Cooper's Rock park, sled ride, or even warm up by a fire with some hot chocolate.
The event is put on by the Coopers Rock Foundation.
"People forget that it's a true four seasons environment up here and true four seasons of recreation," said Adam Polinski, from the Coopers Rock Foundation. "We're trying to promote this end of the recreation spectrum and trying to make a fun time for all the people that like winter."
People that attended Winterfest could even try out cross country skiing or snowshoeing. The foundation hopes to continue holding the event each year.
