Several counties in West Virginia have already started celebrating the state's sesquicentennial. Marion County has a very rich history and now its residents are ready to celebrate how far it has come.
Several counties in West Virginia have already started celebrating the state's sesquicentennial. Marion County has a very rich history and now its residents are ready to celebrate how far it has come.
The Clarksburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is in the midst of last minute party planning for Valentine's Day.
The center will hold a party for residents and their families on Thursday.
Clarksburg's mayor and vice mayor will be present with the king and queen are crowned.
Staff and residents of the facility vote for king and queen and there will be a total of four winners, two queens and two kings.
Executive director of the center Phillip Donnelly said everyone looks forward to the Valentine's Day events.
"Our residents are very excited about our events on Valentine's day because it gets them involved and active and it's fun," Donnelly said.
Donnelly said organizers will announce two queens and two kings.
