An electrical fire destroyed a home in Harrison County Tuesday night. The Harrison County 911 Center said it started just after 12:15 a.m. on Locust Street in Salem. It said the fire appears to be suspicious.

Doddridge County High School has received a three-year, $50,000 Innovation Zone Grant, allowing students with similar interests to spend a few hours every month getting real world experience.

The Christ Episcopal Church in Clarksburg hosted a pancake dinner on Tuesday in honor of Shrove Tuesday.
It's an annual dinner that the church has been hosting for over 40 years.
The church asked for a $5 donation for the dinner.
The money will go to its "Backpack Blessings" program, which donates food to children in need.
