Fire Destroys Home in West Union

Fire has destroyed a home in West Union and left homeless the family that lived there.

The Doddridge County Office of Emergency Management said it happened just before 9 a.m. Tuesday on James Street.

Five people lived in the home. No one was hurt.

There's no word on how it started.
