A collision in Doddridge County sent four people to United Hospital Center Wednesday.

The sheriff's department said it happened Wednesday afternoon when a car traveling south on Route 18 failed to yield to oncoming traffic on Route 50.

Three cars were involved in the collision. At least one of them totaled.

The sheriff's department said the injuries were serious but non life threatening.
