Plans for a minor league baseball stadium in Bridgeport are moving forward.

Genesis Partners said it will be several months before you see a physical building start to take shape.

It said it has a lot of infrastructure work to do before it breaks ground on the project.

The $50 million stadium and recreational facility is on track to finish in time for the first pitch in 2014.
