Upshur County will join several counties next month for an emergency preparedness exercise.
The full scale exercise will simulate modern disasters and test the participating counties' radio capabilities with an interoperable communications exercise.
The exercise is set for Thursday, March 21.
You may hear unusual radio traffic that sounds like an actual emergency. But again, it's only an exercise.
